64 sixteenth steps and 16 quarter steps run concurrently across four bars.
Credits 1–64 each supply a sixteenth-note step. The occupied core-pixel count, divided by four and rounded down, selects a scale degree above E1. A black-dominant or empty line rests. A yellow-dominant line sustains a preceding equal pitch.
Credits 65–80 each supply a quarter-note chord. Dominant ink selects the root: C → E, green → F♯, M → G, red → A, Y → B, blue → C, K → D. Diatonic triads follow; adjacent identical roots sustain.
All 80 core rows contribute to each of 64 time columns. Black gates quarter-note kicks, magenta backbeat snares, cyan eighth-note hats, and yellow end-of-bar toms. A minimum eight ink contributions triggers a hit; density controls strength.
The actual gradient supplies the three strongest ink degrees. They become sustained tones across the full loop. Reordering the same page leaves this voice unchanged.
Reconciled supplies bass, Assessed harmony, Recorded drums and Liquidated pad. Issued, Consolidated, Accrued and Amortized remain visual: they add no invented melody. Every part uses the same 16-beat, four-bar clock.
These music rules are an independent experiment, not Jack’s official rating or a modification to his contracts. The Pangaea composition uses the renderer pinned on 1 October 2026.
